Do I need to know accounting to use this?
No. Peazy is built for people who'd rather not think about it. It sorts the categories, does the arithmetic, and keeps the paper trail — you confirm the occasional transaction it can't place on its own. Nothing here asks you to know what a ledger is.
I already have an accountant. Do I still need this?
They're not alternatives. Peazy keeps the records through the year so your accountant isn't reconstructing them in March, and hands over one file at year end instead of an email thread. It prepares the package — your accountant still does the accounting and the filing.
What does Peazy cost?

Can I file my taxes with the estimate?
No. It’s an estimate, worked out from the actual tax rules rather than by AI. It exists to keep you ahead of what you’ll owe — not to replace a filed return or your accountant.
Can Peazy tell me whether a clinic underpaid me?
No. It compares the production and split you entered with deposits recorded for that clinic. A difference is a prompt to review your own records, not a finding about what a clinic owes.
What do I actually get at year end?
One package: your income for the year, expenses by category with their receipts attached, vehicle and equipment costs, and a CPP and tax summary. It’s built to be handed straight to an accountant.
Do I have to connect my bank account?
No. Connect accounts through Plaid, forward receipts to your own Peazy address, or type everything in by hand. Start with the least you’re comfortable with and change your mind later.
What happens to my bank credentials?
Peazy never sees them. Plaid handles that exchange directly and passes back transactions only.
